Meet the moms behind the brand
It started in November 2019, when two moms from Durban decided to turn their shared passion for stationery into something that could genuinely help other parents.
Caron Rademeyer and Jessica Hills had both spent years in corporate retail, working with general merchandise. They knew how the supply chain worked, they knew what quality looked like, and they knew — from personal experience — just how stressful the Back to School season could be.
So they created Prepped 4 Prep, a stationery service built around one simple idea: take the stress out of Back To School and make it personal.
What began as a Back to School service has grown into a full stationery business, serving schools, parents and corporate clients across Durban and surrounds. But the heart of the business hasn’t changed. Every order is still handled personally, every label is still designed with care, and every box is still packed as if it were for their own children.
Six years later, Prepped 4 Prep is proud to work alongside 18 partner schools, and has served hundreds of families by making their Back to School stress-free and super convenient.

Caron Rademeyer
Co-Founder & Director
Caron is the face and driving force behind Prepped 4 Prep. With a background in corporate retail, she brings a sharp eye for product quality and an unshakeable commitment to customer service. When she is not sourcing stationery or designing labels, you will find her dreaming up new Preppi campaigns or connecting with the school communities that make this business possible. Caron handles the day-to-day operations and is the voice you will hear when you call – personal service isn’t just a tagline, it is how she runs the business.
Jessica Hills
Co-Founder & Director
Jess is the co-founder who helps keep the operational engine running. Also from a corporate retail background, she brings key organisational skills to the Back to School season to ensure every order is fulfilled accurately and timeously. She helps manage the high volumes of orders over this peak period and is a master at covering books and servicing each order with her personal touch.

Every brand needs an ambassador, and for Prepped 4 Prep, that role belongs to a helpful little pencil called Preppi.
Born during the brand’s early Back to School campaigns, Preppi started as a simple mascot and has now evolved into a character who shows up everywhere – on labels, in catalogues, across social media and now on this website. He is playful, he is helpful and he is always ready with a smile (and a well-sharpened point) to give advice, share knowledge and provide valuable information to you.
Behind the Scenes
No business can function without the help of team members. We are so grateful for our amazing team of staff who are passionate, hard working and extremely dedicated throughout our peak Back to School season.
We set up and work from a warehouse in Riverhorse Valley where all the long hours and hard work take place to fulfil hundreds of orders. Each order is quality checked, packed perfectly and serviced exactly as per your needs.
